Tour leaders
A tour leader guides travelers by identifying itineraries; checking reservations for domestic and international travel including cruises, tours, rental cars, air and hotels. Studies itinerary by assembling literature; offering personal experiences; commenting on local customs, points of interest, and special events; answering inquiries; offering suggestions. Schedules itinerary by identifying, booking, and confirming route, carriers, lodging, and dining; verifying space and rates; issuing tickets. Prepares travel packet by assembling itinerary, maps, tickets, confirmations, visas and related documents, baggage tags, emergency resources, insurance options, etc. Collects payment by entering and verifying scheduled services and charges; computing total; obtaining credit card charge, check, or cash. Maintains resource of travel options by traveling carriers and visiting destinations; assembling, filing, and updating directories, brochures, pamphlets, guides, timetables, etc.

Corporate Travel Manager
In that kind of position, you'll have to manage a comprehensive business travel program for a corporation. Provide a centralized source of expertise in all facets of travel operations, including transportation, hotel and rental car arrangements. Negotiate favorable agreements with industry vendors and introduce technological enhancements as necessary. Manage the corporation's Leased Vehicle program. Manage the Travel department's Intranet presence by leading the web development team. Administer the business travel program for the corporation, e.g. transportation, hotel, rental car. Travel Account Manager
The purpose of that function is to work with Account Executive and Travel Purchasing Department to coordinate all aspects of travel programs with clients, internal departments and suppliers while monitoring the pricing and final bill. The Travel Account Manager provides consultation to Travel Purchasing and AE in proposal phase of repeat programs; Meets with the Travel Purchasing Manager or Travel Buyer and Account Executive to obtain the program guidelines and client objectives and needs; is responsible for detail development of programs including but not limited to all functions, activities and transportation; Reviews and manages hotel contracts and room blocks, contracts with attrition / deposit dates and reviews air blocks with transportation. • • • There are Travel Account Manager jobs available in:
